Killogy is a high-energy, animated dark comedy from creator Alan Robert (Life Of Agony) based on his hit IDW Publishing comic series, in association with Squeeze Studio Animation and award-winning producer Rodney Barnes (The Boondocks, Everybody Hates Chris). Stars Frank Vincent (Goodfellas, The Sopranos), Marky Ramone (the Ramones), Brea Grant (Heroes, Dexter), and Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein (the Misfits) battle it out in apocalyptic-Brooklyn when an ancient voodoo curse wakes the dead and floods the city with blood. This outrageous premise and bizarre mash-up of punk rock royalty, wiseguy sarcasm, and over-the-top gore makes for one hilarious rollercoaster ride.
Killogy is being produced and developed under Robert’s Wasted Talent Entertainment banner, consisting of Robert, Chris White (V/H/S Viral) and Jeff Mazzola (Descent). Killogy was nominated for Best Mini-Series (2013) and Best One-Shot (2014) at the Ghastly Awards and picked up a Horror Comic Award for Best Scene from ComicMonsters.com. Bloody Disgusting listed Killogy at #4 on their Top 10 Best Mini-Series of 2013. The Killogy: Halloween Special sold out within its first week of distribution and IDW immediately issued a second printing. The critically acclaimed Killogy graphic novel was recently translated in Portuguese for a Brazilian release through NFL Zine.
When the voodoo curse hits Brooklyn, Doyle, a muscle-bound bouncer from the local bar, gets his hands dirty fending off hordes of possessed monsters in order to keep his friends safe.
Sally "Sno-Cones" has spent his entire adulthood leading a double life. On the surface, he's the proud owner of an Italian ices shop in Brooklyn. But secretly, he has been the mob's most lethal hitman for over three decades. With eighty-eight notches on his gun and dozens of severed heads stored inside his shop’s freezer, he’s never had much of a problem being a stone-cold killer.
Cole “Shaggy” Edwards is a down-on-his-luck degenerate gambler. Always looking to get the bookies off his back, he’ll jump on any hair-brained scheme for a quick buck. He’s in for fifteen large to feared loan shark Santo “The Saint” and the vig is still running. Shaggy accepts Santo’s deal to rip off a local collector’s rare Babe Ruth baseball in exchange for a clean slate. The burglary goes awry, but Shaggy stumbles upon a treasure even more valuable in the process… the cursed Ring of Samedi.
Summer is an innocent Brooklyn blonde who has terrible taste in men. Her bad-boy boyfriend Santo “The Saint” smacks her around, cheats on her and stands her up on her birthday. It’s an intense love/hate relationship consisting of violent squabbles and hot make-up sex. After one of their many heated exchanges, Santo proposes to Summer with a stolen ring to win her back. Yep. You guessed it, it’s The Cursed Ring of Samedi. Little does Summer know, this event is the turning point which unleashes voodoo priestess Antoinette Baptiste’s curse on the world, triggering the apocalypse.
"One-Eye" is a frozen severed-head who serves as the show’s narrator. He has a glass eye decorated with the Italian flag made up of cursed jewels stolen from Antoinette Baptiste’s voodoo stash. He's one sarcastic son-of-a-bitch, but he'll tell you like it is! In the 1980s, he was a big earner for The Three Lorenzos crime family until he was whacked out by Sno-Cones (his brother-in-law) for secretly pulling the infamous museum heist, that started this whole mess.
